Workshop on the POSH Act, 2013 Organized at the National Informatics Centre, Uttar Pradesh

A workshop on “The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013” was conducted at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Uttar Pradesh Centre, Lucknow on 23 March 2026 under the guidance of Shri Ashesh Kumar Agrawal, Deputy Director General and State Informatics Officer, Uttar Pradesh.

Smt. Shubha Srivastava, Scientist-F and Chairperson of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) on Sexual Harassment at Workplace, NIC Uttar Pradesh, was the resource person for the session. She provided a comprehensive overview of the key provisions of the Act and created awareness among the participants, especially the women employees of NIC Lucknow, regarding their rights, protection, and redressal mechanisms available at the workplace.
