Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) Event Prayagraj

Under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY), a special programme was organised by EPFO Prayagraj at IFFCO Phulpur on 19 June 2026 to promote employment generation and social security among youth. During the event, Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Praveen Patel distributed appointment letters to 32 newly recruited candidates. Nearly 250 beneficiaries and employers participated and joined the Prime Minister’s national programme through live telecast to gain insights into employment opportunities and social security initiatives. The event reflected the Government of India’s commitment towards empowering youth and building a developed India.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed beneficiaries, employers and stakeholders across the country and disbursed incentives worth approximately ₹2,400 crore under PM-VBRY. The scheme has contributed significantly to employment generation and expansion of social security coverage, supporting around 15 lakh new employment opportunities nationwide. The Prime Minister emphasized that PM-VBRY serves as a bridge between industry and the workforce by supporting both first-time employees and employers creating new jobs.
