Hon’ble Justice of Allahabad High Court Commends NIC Officers for Successful Implementation of ICJS via E-summon and BOMS in Uttar Pradesh

In a moment of pride for the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Hon’ble Justice of the Allahabad High Court has extended his appreciation to NIC officers for their pivotal role in implementing the E-summon Application (N-Step for Criminal Cases) and the Bail Order Management System (BOMS) in Uttar Pradesh, advancing the vision of the Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS). This recognition came on December 18, 2025, following a judicial order in a criminal case.

The court commended Mr. Shashi Kant Sharma, DDG of E-Prison at NIC Delhi, for his key role in rolling out the E-Summon Project and BOMS across district courts in Uttar Pradesh, significantly advancing the ICJS with NIC and the Allahabad High Court. Mr. Markandey Srivastava, Joint Director (IT) at NIC, Allahabad High Court, was also recognized for his ongoing contributions to the successful implementation of the NSTEP Project and BOMS in Uttar Pradesh.
