Lottery Conducted for Admission under the Right To Education (R.T.E.) Act for the Academic Session 2026-27

The lottery process for admissions under the Right to Education (RTE) Act for the academic session 2026–27 was successfully conducted. The lottery and seat allocation for verified applications were carried out in three phases, through which 1,95,740 seats in private schools were allotted against a total of 4,44,771 applications. To ensure a smooth and transparent process, the RTE Uttar Pradesh portal (https://www.rte25.upsdc.gov.in/
) was revamped and relaunched. The redevelopment of the portal was successfully carried out by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Uttar Pradesh State Centre, under the guidance of Shri Ashesh Kumar Agrawal, DDG & State Informatics Officer (UP), and under the leadership of Shri Rajendra Gupta, Senior Director (IT), along with his team.
